Choi Dae Hyun (born 2 July 1986) is a Korean model from Germany. Born of Korean and Chinese descent, he moved from Düsseldorf, Germany to Seoul, South Korea in 1989. Signed with Seoul Entertainment Agency and Fashion Dream International Model Management Group, Choi debuted as a model at a young age in 1994 and has appeared in numerous magazines including An An, Yuhaeng Tongshin, Junior, and GQ Korea. In 1998, he continued his modeling career into high fashion, representing several local labels such as Naknine and Hang Ten.

Lee Eun, İlkokulda ssireum (Kore güresi) ile ilgilenmeye basladi. 1997-1998 yillarinda Kore milli güres müsabakalarinda altin madalya kazandi. Üniversiteye yeni basladiginda aktör Cha Seung-won onu modelliğe yönlendirdi. Bunun için 30 kilo verdi ve 1999'da Busan'da bir moda gösterisinde (Seoul Fashion Artists Association Collection) podyuma çıktı.



2006 yiılında Like a Virgin filminde ssireum güresçisini oynadı. 2007 yılında hit olan Coffee Prince dizisinde rol aldı ve kariyerinin finalini KBS'de yayinlanan Mighty Chil-woo dizisi ile yaptı.



Ölümü:

21 Ağustos 2008 de bir motosiklet kazası sonucu hayatını kaybetti. KBS de yayinlanan "Mighty Chil-woo" dizisinin kutlama partisinden ayrıldıktan sonra Hannam-dong yolunda bir uçurumun parmaklıklarına çarptı. Çarpma sırasında boynu kırılan model, kaldırıldığı Soonchunhyang Üniversite hastahanesinde öldü.

Cenaze törenine birçok meslektaşı katıldı. Coffee Prince dizisinin yıldızı ve yakın arkadaşı Gong Yoo, cenaze törenine katılmak ve arkadaşının anıt tabletini taşımak için askeri hizmetinden izin aldı.

Life

Lee began practising ssireum while in elementary school, going on to win gold medals at Korean national ssireum competitions in 1997 and 1998. As a freshman at university, he was inspired by Cha Seung-won to become a model, and after losing 30 kg (66 lb) made his debut at a fashion show in Busan in 1999. His later fashion show appearances included the Seoul Fashion Artists Association Collection.



Lee branched out into acting, making his film debut in 2006; he played a ssireum wrestler in Like a Virgin. He later appeared in the 2007 hit drama series Coffee Prince, and made his final appearance in KBS drama Mighty Chil-woo.





Death

Lee died in a motorcycle accident on 21 August 2008. He had been riding home from a party celebrating the last airing of Mighty Chil-woo, when his motorcycle hit the guardrail of an overpass in Hannam-dong, Seoul, at around 2 am. He died on the spot from a broken neck and was taken to the nearby Soonchunhyang University Hospital. Many of his colleagues attended his funeral, including Gong Yoo, his co-star in Coffee Prince, who took leave from his military service to hold Lee's memorial tablet in the procession to the grave site.

Lee Byung-hun is a South Korean actor. He is most famous for acting in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra as Storm Shadow, Park Chan-wook's Joint Security Area and Kim Ji-woon's A Bittersweet Life. He was born in Seoul.



Acting Career



Lee made his debut in 1991, starring in the television drama "Asphalt My Hometown". Lee's later movie, Joint Security Area, was a smash hit, surpassing the box office benchmark set by Shiri.



After Lee's role in Bungee Jumping of Their Own, his acting talent gathered widespread recognition.



Lee has recently played a part in the movie Everybody Has Secrets with Choi Ji Woo, Chu Sang Mi and Kim Hyo Jin, a movie about three sisters who fall in love with Lee Soo-hyon. Soo-hyon falls in love with one of the sisters, leaving the other two heartbroken. The movie has reached a very high bid of US$5.5 million in Japan.[citation needed] However, the box-office profit of his movie was low in Japan. A Bittersweet Life, released in 2005, was well received by critics.



In 2005, Lee released his biographies Limited, Brave and Human during his visit to Singapore, a 3-DVD collection in which he talked about his life and acting career.



His likeness was used for the main character in the Capcom video game Lost Planet: Extreme Condition which was released on January 12, 2007.



In December 2007, it was confirmed that Lee was cast as the villain Storm Shadow in the live-action G.I. Joe film. This was his Hollywood debut film. He also released an album in 2008, withone of the songs called Itsuka that he sang in Japanese being ranked third in Korea.
